How to withdraw safely

Complete withdrawal guide for USDT and BTC — picking a network, address-book with 24-hour activation, fees, 2FA, and AML.

Updated: September 12, 2026

Pre-withdrawal safety checklist

  1. 2FA enabled — not strictly required, but strongly recommended.
  2. Recipient address double-checked — character by character, at minimum first 4 and last 4. Better — 8 characters from the middle.
  3. Recipient's network matches our network — otherwise funds are gone.
  4. Antivirus running on the device, no pirated software.

Now step by step.

Step 1. Open the Withdraw section

Dashboard → Wallet. Balance cards at the top, tabs below. Open Withdraw.

Step 2. Choose currency and network

  • Currency: USDT or BTC.
  • Network: TRC20 (Tron), ERC20 (Ethereum, may be disabled), BTC (Bitcoin).

Below the network field, the withdrawal fee is shown — it depends on the network and the amount you enter (tiered schedule). More — Fees and networks.

Step 3. Enter the recipient address

Two ways:

If you use the same address regularly, save it. After saving, the address activates in 24 hours and is then safe to withdraw to.

  • Click Address book → list of your saved addresses.
  • Pick one — it fills the form.

Manually (one-off withdrawals)

  • Copy the address from the recipient (exchange, external wallet).
  • Paste into Address.
  • Compare what's pasted against the original — character by character.
  • If you want to save it — tick Save to address book. The address is saved but activates in 24 hours, so withdrawal isn't allowed yet.

Step 4. About the 24-hour activation

The most important part. Any new address in the address book becomes active in 24 hours. Until then, no withdrawal to it.

Two scenarios it covers:

  1. Clipboard-swap virus. If a virus swapped the address in your clipboard, you have 24 hours to notice and remove the bad address.
  2. Account takeover. If someone got into your account, they can't immediately drain crypto to their own address. You have 24 hours to spot the new session and revoke it.

You can't bypass the 24-hour window. Don't add addresses at the last minute — add in advance, ideally right when setting up your wallet.

Step 5. Enter the amount

Enter the crypto amount in the Amount field. Below it — your available balance and 25% / 50% / 75% / Max quick-pick buttons.

Right of (or below) the field — a Summary:

  • Amount: what you entered.
  • Network fee: what the platform deducts.
  • You'll receive: amount minus fee. This is what lands in the external wallet.

The fee depends on the amount — we use a tiered schedule. Larger amounts mean higher absolute fees but usually lower percentages.

Step 6. Confirm withdrawal

Click Withdraw. A confirmation popup opens with the final summary:

  • Currency and network.
  • Full recipient address.
  • Amount and fee.
  • Final received amount.

If 2FA is enabled, an extra 2FA code field appears. Open your authenticator and enter the current 6-digit code.

Re-read the address one more time. Confirm.

Step 7. What happens next

At this moment:

  1. Amount + fee is debited from your balance.
  2. Operations history gets a withdrawal row in Pending.
  3. The transaction goes to signing (internal platform component — KMS).
  4. After signing, it's broadcast to the blockchain.
  5. Once the blockchain accepts it, the status changes to Confirmed, and the row gets a transaction hash (TxID).

Usually the whole procedure takes from 30 seconds to a few minutes.

Step 8. Manual approval (early mainnet)

In the initial mainnet phase, the platform may enable manual withdrawal approval. In this mode:

  • After confirmation, your withdrawal lands in Awaiting approval (not Pending).
  • An admin manually reviews the request.
  • After approval, the withdrawal is processed normally.

This is a temporary mainnet safety measure — it doesn't mean anything went wrong. Most requests are approved within hours.

When the mode is on, this is shown clearly in the withdrawal form and confirmation popup. If your withdrawal is Awaiting approval for more than 24 hours, message @BitMomentSupportBot.

How long withdrawals take

  • Signing + broadcast: usually 30 seconds — a few minutes (network-load dependent).
  • Blockchain confirmations: TRC20 ≈ 1 minute, ERC20 ≈ 2.5–3 minutes, BTC ≈ 30 minutes.
  • If manual approval is on: plus the admin review time.

If Pending sits for over an hour without progress and manual approval isn't on, write to support.

Minimums

The minimum withdrawal is configured per network by admins (set to cover the network fee). The exact value is shown in the withdrawal form — under the minimum, the Withdraw button is disabled with a hint.

Troubleshooting

Withdrawal won't go

  • Check status in Operations history. If Pending, wait.
  • If Failed with an explanation, address the issue (often related to the platform's hot-wallet balance or a temporarily disabled network).
  • If the error is unclear — @BitMomentSupportBot.

Withdrawal went out but hasn't arrived

  • Check the TxID in the blockchain explorer (Tronscan / Etherscan / Mempool.space). If the transaction is confirmed on-chain and the address is right, the funds are with the recipient — the issue is on their side (the exchange delays the credit, for example).
  • If the TxID isn't found and over 30 minutes have passed — write to support.

2FA error

  • Check the time on your phone (TOTP is sensitive to clock accuracy; drift > 30s breaks codes).
  • Enter the code again — you have a few attempts.

I want to cancel a withdrawal

  • If it's Awaiting approval (manual approval) or not yet broadcast, message @BitMomentSupportBot with the operation number — we'll try to cancel.
  • If it's already broadcast (has a TxID), cancellation is impossible. Blockchain property.
